Newly freed hostage Edan Alexander hugged his mother and family members as they were finally reunited after more than 19 grueling months — with the 21–year-old holding a sign reading “Thank you President Trump” after the American leader helped facilitate his release.

Alexander, of Tenafly, New Jersey, could be seen at an Israeli facility flashing a bright smile as he was greeted by his mother, Yael, and other relatives following his release from Hamas custody earlier Monday.
