Bill Belichick makes major move amid Jordon Hudson drama

Bill Belichick has seen his name in the news quite a bit recently, but not for reasons he will be happy about. After a debacle of an interview with CBS went public, with his girlfriend Jordon Hudson reportedly interjecting on several occasions, Belichick has reportedly made a major move.

Belichick and Hudson's relationship was divisive before the aforementioned interview, largely because of the fact that the North Carolina Tar Heels head coach is 73 years old, while his girlfriend is 24 years old. Despite that, the pair have been going on strong for some time now, even amid this very public speed bump.

However, Belichick isn't exactly sweeping it under the rug. Things have gone up in flames for Belichick with Hudson acting as his public relations person as of late, so the legendary coach is looking to make a change. Reports have emerged indicating he's looking to hire a P.R. specialist to help him promote his new book.

"Per multiple sources, Belichick has been talking to at least one experienced P.R. specialist in the hopes of boosting his book tour and/or the overall interests of the North Carolina football program," Mike Florio of ProFootballTalk reported.

"Belichick has been having conversations with former Bears V.P. of communications Brandon Faber. The discussions have been occurring for a couple of months. For now, however, nothing has been completed or formalized."

After a historic 24-year run with the New England Patriots, Belichick took the year off from coaching in 2024 after the two sides parted ways. In December 2024, Belichick surprisingly spurned a chance to return to the NFL by accepting North Carolina's head coaching gig for the first foray into college football of his career.
