If you've ever considered some exciting kicker trick plays as something the Philadelphia Eagles should have in their playbook, well, there's one path toward that.
They could draft, or sign after the draft, Jaffer Murphy from UTSA. He's unlike any other kicker you've ever heard of.
The Eagles were at the UTSA Pro Day recently, and while it's not specific who they may have been watching, it's hard to imagine they didn't notice Murphy.
Murphy made 12-of-13 field goals at the event, including a 70-yarder.
And even more eye-catching, he ran his 40-yard dash in 4.47 seconds.
They don't make kickers like this:

Murphy measures at 6-foot-1 and 185 pounds. He could be a receiver if not for the fact that he can kick the ball a heck of a long way.
He actually began his college sports career at Drake and then Florida Gulf Coast as a soccer player.
He went to Division II Lake Erie College to become a full-time kicker, then was at North Carolina before arriving at UTSA.
It's not clear whether Murphy is a quality tackler, which could be a fascinating element to add to kickoff teams with his speed.
It's also not obvious that the Eagles need a kicker. Jake Elliott has been their reliable guy for a while now.
But they were there when Murphy was putting on a show. It's hard to think they didn't notice.
