The Philadelphia Eagles lost in Week 3 to the Chicago Bears and third-string quarterback Case Keenum. It was a horrible loss, but the Eagles managed to follow it up with an even worse game the following week.
With a chance to make it a three-score game over the Los Angeles Rams at the goal line, the Eagles couldn't score a touchdown. Instead, the Eagles, on a crucial third down, botched the play, which might've worked for a touchdown, and didn't score.
NFL analyst Brett Kollmann shared on Twitter/x the reason for the third-down play being botched: Left guard Cam Jurgens. After moving to LG following Landon Dickerson's injury, it might be time to make a change after this unacceptable blunder.
Cam Jurgens was behind Eagles' botched goal-line attempt
"Went through all the camera angles. The reason why the Eagles run failed on 3rd and goal from the 2 (which likely would've scored) is because Cam Jurgens slightly false started, but it wasn't called," Kollmann shared. "He was on top of Hurts too quickly as he pulled, and his hand hit the ball as Jalen took the snap. Caused a bobble, which meant the ball didn't actually get handed off."
After driving down the field through the ground game, the Eagles went back to the run on third-and-goal from the two-yard line. If the ball was handed off properly, it likely would've been a touchdown.
If the Eagles score there, they go up 17 points and very likely win the Week 4 matchup over the Rams despite the plethora of injury issues they were dealing with all game, on top of the coaching mistakes from Nick Sirianni.
But Jurgens made a mistake, pulling too quickly and knocking the ball on his way past Hurts to completely derail a good play call.

This one mistake from Jurgens capped off a horrible day for him, as he was one of the NFL's worst offensive linemen in Week 4, if not the worst.
Add in his struggles from Weeks 1 through 3, and his overall body of work this season is completely unacceptable. The Eagles invested a lot in him, and he's let them down this season, just as he did a year ago.
He helped Philadelphia win a Super Bowl, so his tenure hasn't been all terrible. But the last few seasons have not gone well, and this year, his mistake on the goal line likely cost the Eagles a win.
It might finally be time for Sirianni, Howie Roseman, or even Jeffrey Lurie to decide to bench Jurgens, ignore the sunk cost of his contract, and turn to Willie Lampkin or a different lineman to fill in at left guard, because Jurgens isn't cutting it.
