‘DWTS’ star’s racy ‘SI’ Swim throwback gets slapped ‘adult content’

Alix Earle’s debut with the Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue was so racy that when the brand shared it as a throwback on social media, it was slapped with the dreaded “adult content” rating.

Earle, 24, has been wowing the judges — and fans — with her partner Val Chmerkovsky, perfectly executing double pirouette turns, difficult lifts and even her signature breakdance move.

“From flirty sparkles to undone glam, Alix Earle's 2024 Miami After-Party digital shoot is a masterclass in glamour,” SI Swim captioned the throwback for the October 27 share to X (formerly Twitter).

In the stunning pic, Earle holds up a bouquet of flowers over her mermaid-like outfit. Even though she’s wearing a bikini, it is likely the rating came from the illusion created by the sequins that she’s wearing less than she is.

That year marked the debut of the first-ever digital edition of the iconic magazine, with Earle as its first-ever cover model.
