Cooper Flagg tried not to say anything major during his media availability at the NBA Draft Combine.
But he said enough.
The Duke freshman phenom didn't outright reveal the Dallas Mavericks' intentions with the No. 1 overall pick in the NBA Draft. But amid trade rumors, Flagg alluded to what he apparently thinks will happen.
The key line Flagg told reporters: "They got a lot of really good pieces. I think it'll be a really cool opportunity."
That's him saying in the affirmative that he thinks playing for Dallas will "be a really cool opportunity."
There's no suggestion of uncertainty in that line.

To be fair, Flagg wouldn't necessarily know if the Mavs still planned on trading the pick.
But surely there have already been conversations between Flagg's agent and Dallas representatives. If the pick was being heavily shopped, it'd be known by someone.
The Mavericks have two older superstars in Anthony Davis and Kyrie Irving, but they really can't go wrong by picking Flagg, another generational talent.
With someone as good as Flagg on the board, you worry about filling in around him later. The key is just to get him.
The Mavs had only a 1.8% chance to get the top pick. You don't mess with that good fortune.
