Remanent Reminisce is one of the best swords in Duet Night Abyss, and after seeing what it can do in-game, it’s not really hard to see why. It’s one of the Sword weapons, and while it takes pretty much the same grind as any other weapon does, it has fantastic stats, and one of the best abilities you can have on a weapon, period.
With a sleek white design, and a power that lets you build Sanity back, Remanent Reminisce is a must-have for quite a few of the playable characters in Duet Night Abyss. Below, we’ll go over everything you might need to know about this very powerful blade, and how you can craft one of your own.
How to unlock Remanent Reminisce in Duet Night Abyss
You can get Remanent Reminisce in Duet Night Abyss in one of two ways. One just costs a lot of money, and the other will potentially take a significant amount of time. That really comes down to just how lucky you are, because it will come down to a lot of RNG, and then some forging.
It's a bit of a grind, but it's worth it (Image via Hero Games)Remanent Reminisce can be purchased via the in-game store for 3,280 Phoxene Plumule (real-money currency). That adds up to a minimum of $29.99 USD, which is not something we advise. Instead, we recommend grinding for this weapon, no matter how great it is.
What you’ll need to do is go to the Covert Commissions tab of the shop, select weapons, and purchase Secret Letter: Remanent Reminisce commissions. Each one costs 10 Secret Letters. It’s really up to you how many you buy, but I tend to buy in pretty large numbers, because I have bad RNG. Typically I’ll buy 20-25 for a weapon at one time. This is because you use them for several of the major pieces of your weapon. Here’s what you need to make it:
- Blueprint: Remanent Reminisce x1 (Covert Mission)
 - Remanent Reminisce: Grip x1 (Covert Mission)
 - Precision Magnet x1 (Elites in Commissions)
 - Remanent Reminisce: Blade x1 (Covert Mission)
 - Secret Letter Clue x1
 - Weapon Manual II x1

For most of the parts, you’ll need to farm Covert Missions, which are found in Combat, Commissions, Covert Tab. There will be three options there, and frankly, you’re better off waiting until you can get fast Commissions. The best ones for my money, in terms of speed, are Dismantle, Capture, or Rescue. Capture’s my favorite, because you can just rush to the end, beat the enemy, capture them, and leave.
Sometimes, you just get lucky the first time (Image via Hero Games)You can be in and out in just a few minutes at the absolute most. Before you enter any of the Covert Missions, click the Select a Secret Letter tab, and pick Remanent Reminisce, to try and farm parts for that Duet Night Abyss weapon. I can’t tell you how long it’ll take, because it truly varies. I managed to get one of the weapon parts in the first attempt, but that’s rare for me.
Precision Magnets drop from Elites in Commissions, so you should likely have a few of these lying around anyway. The Secret Letter Clue is just a generic Secret Letter, and you get piles of those in-game. You also need a Weapon Manual II, and you should have plenty of those as well. They also drop as generic rewards in commissions, so they’re easy to farm.
Once you have all the parts, you will need to open up the Weapon Tab of the and select Remanent Reminisce to craft it. There will likely be a Coins cost which likely won’t be a serious issue, as well as a time constraint. You can use Hammers to make that an instant craft, if you prefer. Once all that has been done, you have Remanent Reminisce in Duet Night Abyss!
Remanent Reminisce’s stats and abilities at max level in Duet Night Abyss
Remanent Reminisce is such a great weapon in Duet Night Abyss, mostly thanks to its special ability. The fact that it can restore Sanity, and do so with a decent percentage, with a low cooldown, makes it easier to spam special abilities, or at least, use them with a greater frequency. You can find the weapons level 80 stats below:
If you're into crits, and spamming skills, this is the sword for you! (Image via Hero Games)Stats at Max Level

Who are the best characters to take advantage of Remanent Reminisce in Duet Night Abyss
Sure, Remanent Reminisce is one of the best weapons in Duet Night Abyss, and likely the top-tier Sword weapon, but who is it best used for? Any character that subsists off of crits, or using abilities often are going to be this weapon’s best bet.
- Phoxhunter
 - Randy
 - Tabethe
 - Berenica
 - Yale and Oliver

This doesn’t mean you can’t use it on anyone you want, mind. I plan on at least trying it with Rebecca, to see how I feel about it. Though, due to the nature of her abilities, I don’t think it will be quite as potent. Either way, it’s an amazing blade, and definitely worth having.
