Drew McIntyre broke his silence today on social media after a damaging WWE loss. The veteran competed in a major title match at Saturday Night's Main Event on November 1.

Cody Rhodes defeated Drew McIntyre at Wrestlepalooza 2025 in September to retain the Undisputed WWE Championship, but The Scottish Warrior got another shot at the title earlier this month at SNME. Rhodes planted McIntyre with a DDT on top of the title while the referee was distracted, and then followed it up with the Cross Rhodes for the pinfall victory.

McIntyre took to Instagram today and noted that he will continue to keep pushing forward following his devastating loss to Cody Rhodes at Saturday Night's Main Event.

"We keep pushing forward," he wrote.

CM Punk defeated Jey Uso at Saturday Night's Main Event to become the new World Heavyweight Champion. Jade Cargill also demolished Tiffany Stratton at SNME to capture the WWE Women's Championship at the event over the weekend.

Vince Russo criticizes WWE's booking of Drew McIntyre

Wrestling legend Vince Russo believes the company has given Drew McIntyre very little to work with in 2025 so far.

Speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling's BroDown show, Russo was asked who he thought was the promotion's best star of the year. Russo noted that nobody was truly "over" with the crowd and claimed that McIntyre did the most with what he was given by the company's creative team.

"Who has done the most with what they've been given? That's what we have to look at. I've said this before - I think Solo Sikoa has improved leaps and bounds. Yes, they give him absolute s**t, and that's why he is where he is. When you've got five Samoans in War Paint bailing from a guy and a girl [Nikki Cross of Wyatt Sicks], you're not getting them over. Period, end of story. I think with what he's been given, and Drew [McIntyre]. Just give Drew a big box of s**t and tell him to go do something with it. Drew is unbelievable. I'm sure he's getting paid a lot of money. I don't get how he's had the patience to keep shut this long."

Drew McIntyre deserves way better.

Only time will tell what the company has planned for Drew McIntyre after he failed to capture the Undisputed WWE Championship from Cody Rhodes at Saturday Night's Main Event.
