Kenyon Martin fired shots at Draymond Green on Wednesday's livestream of "The Arena" podcast. The former Nuggets player called Green a soft player by labelling his altercations calculated. However, the Warriors did not like what K-Mart had to say about him as a player.
Green clapped back at Martin's comment on Friday's episode of "The Draymond Green Show". The Warriors star compared his career to Martin's and called him an underachiever.
"I just don't know how you continue to shoot at me when you underachieved," Green said. "1 All-Star? Make no mistake about it, you are an All-Star. I give you that... If I stopped playing today, my career was better, way more impactful... Your resume got to be a little better to just keep taking shots."•

Green compared himself and Martin based on their draft picks. He criticized the former Nuggets player for underachieving while being a first overall pick, and showed off his accomplishments as a 35th pick.
The Warriors star said that he always cheered for Martin as they shared the same birth city, Saginaw, Michigan. However, it was disappointing for him to see Martin take shots at him despite having fewer accolades.
Draymond Green slams Kenyon Martin and Rashad McCants for attacking Nick Young's NBA championship
Nick Young and Kenyon Martin are two regular faces appearing on "The Arena" podcast, formerly known as the "Gils Arenas". Young is the podcast's only regularly appearing former player with an NBA championship, and sometimes Kenyon Martin and Rashad McCants go after him for his achievement.
Draymond Green called out Martin and McCants for going after Swaggy P and his accomplishment, later in the podcast episode.
"I see clips every now and then come from the show, and in particular, I see Kenyon Martin try to attack Nick Young about his NBA championship," Green said. "One thing I wanna share with Kenyon Martin and Rashad McCants, a couple of guys who try to attack Nick Young about his NBA championship." "I know you guys don't understand what it means to win an NBA championship, and because of that, you attack Nick Young because y'all don't know what it takes."Later, Draymond Green went on to share his perspective on what it takes to win an NBA championship. He said that a team has two types of players: those who have to deliver and the swing players. He named himself, Steph Curry and Klay Thompson in the first category.
He said that swing players like Nick Young have a task to swing a single series in their team's favor during a whole championship run. He credited Young for swinging the series against the Rockets in the 2017-18 championship run.
Green said that Young had big threes against the Rockets in the Western Conference Finals and did a good job guarding James Harden, who had won an MVP award the same season.
