Cleveland Cavaliers guard Donovan Mitchell had a sideline seat Sunday to fiancée Coco Jones’ performance of “Lift Every Voice and Sing” before Super Bowl 2026 between the Seahawks and the Patriots.
The couple, who got engaged last July after two years of dating, kissed on the field after her moving rendition of the Black national anthem at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif.
“BIG AS THE SUPERBOWL,” Mitchell wrote on X, including a yellow heart emoji.
The R&B singer, 28, and the seven-time NBA All-Star, 29, exited the field together afterward.
The Grammy winner looked beautiful in an all-white cropped jacket and a long skirt designed by Karl Kani.
The ensemble paid homage to the late Whitney Houston, who wore a red, white and blue tracksuit and a white headband for her iconic performance of “The Star-Spangled Banner” at Super Bowl XXV in 1991.
Mitchell made the three-hour trip from Sacramento to Santa Clara to support Jones at the Super Bowl after the Cavs beat the Kings, 136-126, Saturday night — and before Cleveland plays the Nuggets in Denver on Monday.
It’s the Cavs’ longest road trip of the season.
Mitchell earned his seventh straight All-Star nod earlier this week.
Jones will likely attend the 2026 All-Star game in Los Angeles on Feb. 15.
