During the trade deadline last season, it was clear the Cleveland Cavaliers were prepared to go all in for a title run by acquiring former Atlanta Hawks forward De'Andre Hunter to provide offensive production from the bench.
However, not only did the team underachieve last season, losing in the second round to the Indiana Pacers, but Cleveland has not been off to the best start many expected, as they were a heavy favorite to reach the Eastern Conference Finals coming into the season.
When Hunter was moved, the plan for the team was for him to serve as a 3-and-D player, but this season has been his worst shooting season.

Hunter reportedly wants out of Cleveland
According to Matt Moore, the owner of the Hardwood Paroxysm, posted on X, that the former fourth-overall pick wants out of Cleveland.
Part of the tweet read, "There's a lot of smoke around the idea that De'Andre Hunter, or at least his representation, would prefer he be somewhere else."
Since the news, there have been more reports that the Cavaliers are not looking to trade Hunter, but most fans know that can change at any time, especially with the trade deadline a little less than a month away on Feb. 5.
Before being traded to Cleveland last season, the wing spent his first five seasons with the Hawks and was a part of the core along with Trae Young and John Collins, who are both also no longer with the Hawks.
Although it could be considered a down year for Hunter from a numbers standpoint, if a potential contender trades for him again this season, they may get a different result than Cleveland. Even though the Cavs still have time to turn things around, reports like these may make it hard to get everyone on the same page.
