Dodgers shockingly linked to trade for Mike Trout, which would kill Angels fan base forever

Some moves around Major League Baseball aren't very likely, but we can never say never around any professional sport. We've seen crazy things happen year in and year out, and all we can do is assume that big moves are going to happen at every trade deadline and in the offseason.

However, the latest Los Angeles Dodgers trade proposal would definitely send waves through the league. The trade would send Mike Trout of the Los Angeles Angels to the Dodgers, a deal that would not only be massive for a team like the Dodgers but would probably have a lot of Angels fans not wanting to be fans of the team any longer.

“The Dodgers really don't need Trout, especially since they already have Shohei Ohtani, Freddie Freeman, Mookie Betts, and so much more. However, they can never be truly counted out of the sweepstakes for any big-name player, and Trout is no different. The Dodgers would give him a chance to win now and reunite him with Ohtani, his former Angels teammate. This would almost certainly cement the Dodgers as the favorites to win their third consecutive World Series title this coming October,” Curt Bishop of SI wrote.

Even if Trout isn't what he once was, he's still playing baseball at a very high level over the past few months. The only question with the future Hall of Famer is whether he can stay healthy. If the Dodgers could make a trade for him, there are a lot of reasons to think that it would make sense.

The Dodgers are the best team in baseball and want to continue winning games, meaning that nothing should be ruled out for this organization.
