On Tuesday night, the Los Angeles Dodgers are set to take on the Toronto Blue Jays, as they’ll look to replicate their dominant performance the night prior in the first match between the two former World Series opponents.

Over the course of Monday night’s match, Los Angeles accrued 14 runs, with Teoscar Hernandez leading the charge with four RBIs of his own, while Freddie Freeman and Shohei Ohtani managed to combine for another four runs. When all was said and done, the blue side of Los Angeles would prevail 14-2, as the Blue Jays’ bats remained silent, only mustering five hits.

Their latest win brings their record to 8-2, which is tied for the best in the National League, sharing the spot with the Milwaukee Brewers.

The Dodgers make a late change to their lineup on Tuesday night

While the Dodgers had their lineup set ahead of the second match against Toronto, they were forced to make a late scratch, as Miguel Rojas had his name taken off the sheet. According to the team, Rojas was scratched from Tuesday night's action due to a family matter.

The 28-year-old has been fairly consistent for the Dodgers this season, slashing .263/.316/.250 across 19 at-bats, as he looks to build on what was quite a productive campaign in 2025.

Rojas’ spot in the lineup and on the field would be filled by Hyesong Kim, which will make Tuesday night his third appearance for Los Angeles this season.
