Do Ravens' Super Bowl hopes rest on 1 key draft selection?

1 hour ago 3

One thing we know about the 2026 Baltimore Ravens is that the franchise, under Jesse Minter, will go as far as Lamar Jackson takes them.

And considering that the franchise lost Tyler Linderbaum and Isaiah Likely in free agency, and hasn't replaced them.

But here comes the draft, and it is plain to see where the Ravens have to get better. Center and tight end.

However, Sports Illustrated's Gilberto Manzano has named one position Baltimore can't afford to skip over, and that's receiver.

"File this under things that have been said about Baltimore over the past few years: Lamar Jackson needs better wide receivers," Manzano writes. "Zay Flowers, Rashod Bateman and Devontez Walker can’t be the top three options at the position heading into the 2026 season. It’s going to be vital for the Ravens to land an impactful pass catcher in the draft, especially after tight end Isaiah Likely left to join coach John Harbaugh in New York."

Ravens have to go WR?

Well, no, they don't.

But as Manzano laid out, the Ravens, behind Zay Flowers, don't exactly have a good receiver group, and for a team looking to go on a deep playoff run, that isn't ideal.

So, adding another receiver, maybe not at No. 14, is the way to go, and maybe a weapon like Carnell Tate could be an option, although I'm not sure he lasts to when the Ravens pick.

Either way, the Ravens have a host of needs, and it will be up to general manager Eric DeCosta to figure out which position is the most pressing to address.

And it appears offense is the clear option, but will the Ravens go center, receiver, or tight end?
