DJO isn’t getting much of a summer break.
The indie rocker — who also happens to be actor Joe Keery aka Steve Harrington from “Stranger Things” — just announced he’s going to headline a five-concert North American tour with special guest Pond from July through August on dates when he isn’t opening for Tame Impala.
New Yorkers are in luck, too.
Keery and co. have two concerts in the Empire State. They’re slated to go down at:
Forest Hills Stadium
Queens, NY
Friday, July 10
Artpark Amphitheater
Lewiston, NY
Thursday, July 23
He’ll close his U.S. run with an appearance at the star-studded Outside Lands Festival on Aug. 8. Other household names joining him on the bill star-studded bill include Charli XCX, The Strokes, Rüfüs Du Sol, The XX and Baby Keem.
Last year, DJO played venues all over the globe on his ‘Back On Your Tour,’ which came in support of his third studio album “The Crux.”
According to Set List FM, at all shows, he played fan favorites like “Chateau (Feel Alright),” “Roddy,” “Basic Being Basic,” “Delete Ya” and his No. 1 single “End of Beginning,” that dethroned Taylor Swift from the top of the charts in January.
“…every song sounds better live,” Culture Sonar noted in an emphatic review of a May 2025 Philadelphia concert. “Djo’s vocal improv makes each [track] a first-time listen, and the hypnotic stage lighting and booming speakers make what was once a one-sense experience into a multi-sensory excursion.”
Tickets officially go on sale to the general public on Friday, March 20 at 12 pm local time through Ticketmaster but are available now on trusted secondary market sites like StubHub and Vivid Seats.
We only recommend sites with a 100% buyer guarantee, so you know your transaction is safe and your tickets will arrive on time.

DJO new music
On April 4, 2025, DJO released their third studio album “The Crux.”
Things start small with the sensitive yet groovy “Lonesome Is A State of Mind” before taking a tongue-in-cheek turn with the ironic epic “Basic Being Basic.” Two tracks in and it’s clear: the group has a few tricks up their sleeve.
Other standouts on the sonically-diverse record include the hard-charging “Link,” moody rocker “Delete Ya,” reflective ballad “Fly,” crunchy garage anthem “Gap Tooth Smile” and the surprisingly mature “Golden Line” that is more than a bit reminiscent of the best of the Moody Blues and George Harrison.
However, the tune we keep coming back to here has to be the feel-good, Beatles-esque “Charlie’s Garden” that weds falsetto vocals, plinking guitar and a sunshine-y attitude to create a pure pop confection. Delicious.
Don’t sleep on the endlessly catchy ear worm “Back On You” or atmospheric title track “Crux” either. They’ll get you in your feels and on your feet all at once.

Pond
At all of five of DJO’s solo gigs, he’ll be joined by special guest Pond.
The Australian rockers, known for laid-back jams like “Paint Me Silver” and “Sweep Me Off My Feet,” have been together in some capacity since 2008.
These days, the quintet is made up of Nick Allbrook, Jay Watson, Shiny Joe Ryan, Jamie Terry, and James Ireland.
If you’d like to acquaint yourself with their psychedelic yet dreamy sound, you can find their complete discography here.
