DJ Akademiks claims someone broke into his SUV during NBA YoungBoy’s show in Texas and stole his bag 

Media personality DJ Akademiks claimed that someone broke into his SUV and stole his bag while he was at NBA YoungBoy's concert in Houston, Texas. For those uninformed, YoungBoy is currently on his "Make America Slime Again Tour," aka the "MASA Tour," and performed at Toyota Center in Houston on two days, September 6 and October 28, 2025.

During his Rumble live stream on October 30, 2025, DJ Akademiks claimed that he was robbed while at the concert. The streamer, who has attended 11 of YoungBoy's shows, recounted the alleged robbery on his live stream.

He told his audience that he usually asks his driver to park next to Birdman's entourage at the concert. However, he said there was no space for his car in the dock area on that particular day.

"Chat, I got robbed at that s**t... There's no better way. I went to 11, nothing happened. The last one, Houston, Texas. When we come in, I usually...get our driver to be like, 'Yo, park wherever Birdman parks. Park next to him.'... Birdman got like 2-3 tour buses. Anyway, we get there and they basically say, 'Yo, you come through the dock area...but we don't got no space for your car,'" he said.

After the concert ended, DJ Akademiks said his security informed him they were not able to find the driver they had hired for the day. However, they soon found the driver, and Akademiks claimed that he looked "shook up," following which they found out that their car had been robbed.

DJ Akademiks claimed he did not report the robbery to the police

During his recent live stream, DJ Akademiks claimed that someone broke into his car through the side he had been seated, and stole his bag, which contained three vlog cameras and his car keys. However, there was no jewelry or cash in the bag, and Akademiks added that he did not report the alleged robbery.

"When we're leaving, my security is like, 'Yo, we can't find our driver.' I'm like, 'What'd you mean, we can't find our driver?' Then, he says, 'Yo, the driver is, like, shook up...' Then they tell me somebody broke into our car! So the car we contracted, the SUV, somebody broke in, and I didn't know at the time but I knew once we got to the car, they stole my bag." "They stole the bag...I had car keys in it, I ain't gonna lie...I probably had some footage, but not like exclusive footage. I had like three vlog cameras, I think they took those... No jewelry in the bag, no money in the bag...No, I did not go to the police...If it was jewelry, I definitely would have to go to the police."

Furthermore, DJ Akademiks told his audience that he asked the driver where he was during the alleged robbery, saying the driver told him he left the car at 8:30 pm to attend YoungBoy's concert as well. At this point, DJ Akademiks left his chair and took a lap around the room, apparently stunned at the driver's response.

DJ Akademiks has been supportive of NBA YoungBoy's career on several occasions. The streamer previously claimed that NBA YoungBoy and Playboi Carti "saved" rap after Kendrick Lamar "ruined" it in an X post in May 2025. He also recently defended YoungBoy against Charleston White after the latter called the rapper an "absent" father to "13 b*stard babies."
