D4vd remained out of sight from the public for months, holed up in a $3.5 million Hollywood Hills home and surrounded by messy chaos before he was arrested for the murder of 14-year-old Celeste Rivas Hernandez.
The newly-renovated home offered plenty of privacy for the singer — with four bedrooms, three bathrooms and a well-covered outdoor pool and spa.
However, a glimpse inside the home showed a kitchen in complete disarray.
The main kitchen island was littered with food and supplies — including pretzel bites, Chic-fil-A sauce, bagels, syrup, ketchup, flour and cereal.
It’s unclear if the singer was just moving into the rental property, getting ready to leave, or if he just left things a total mess while he was living inside the home.
Neighbors who spoke to The California Post said they had no idea D4vd was even living there.
The home, situated behind celeb-hotspot Chateau Marmont, is located in a neighborhood full of celebs — Ariana Grande, billion-dollar lottery winner Edwin Castro and Jimmy Kimmel all live in the area.
D4vd was arrested Thursday for the murder of Rivas. Footage obtained by The California Post showed the singer being hauled away in handcuffs by several gun-wielding LAPD officers.
The teen’s dismembered body was found divided in two cadaver bags in the singer’s Tesla back in September. D4vd disappeared from the public’s eye after Rivas’ body was found, canceling his tour.
D4vd’s legal team has maintained his innocence.
“Let us be clear — the actual evidence in this case will show that David Burke did not murder Celeste Rivas Hernandez and he was not the cause of her death. There has been no indictment returned by any grand jury in this case and no criminal complaint filed. David has only been detained under suspicion. We will vigorously defend David’s innocence,” attorneys Blair Berk, Marilyn Bednarski and Regina Peter said in a joint statement.
