Calling all ghost brides and grooms!
Disneyland fans have long dreamed of tying the knot at the famed Haunted Mansion, and soon they will be able to say “I do” at the ghostly attraction in the park.
Starting in July 2026, the Haunted Mansion courtyard will host early morning ceremonies for up to 25 guests before the park opens, along with the mansion’s grinning ghosts.
“For the first time, Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings and Honeymoons is adding Haunted Mansion Courtyard to its collection of more than a dozen wedding venues at Disneyland Resort,” per disneyparksblog.com.
“With its towering columns and eerily enchanting façade, this spirited venue offers a dramatic backdrop for couples seeking a destination wedding or vow renewal with a fun storytelling twist,” it added.
The Haunted Mansion wedding package includes an officiant, photography, light décor, and transportation to and from a Disneyland Resort hotel, KTLA reported.
For those who want a slightly different backdrop to the spooky mansion, couples can also exchange vows at the elegant Magnolia Park Terrace, just steps away, where they can be immersed in New Orleans Square at the same time.
There will also be a fun option soon for those interested in a ghostly-themed wedding venue when Disney Destiny, a brand-new ship in the Disney Cruise Line fleet, heads out in May 2026.
Couples can exchange their vows in the Haunted Mansion Parlor, which will be filled with “eerie experiences and spooky design elements, including portraits that shift to reveal secrets of a ghostly sea captain and his captivating bride-to-be” on the ship.
Offering couples the chance to exchange vows on the steps of the iconic mansion is just one of numerous locations at Disneyland resort offered as special wedding venues.
Others include locations at the Fantasy Faire Garden, where couples can say “I do” just steps away from Sleeping Beauty’s Castle, Sleeping Beauty Castle Forecourt with the iconic silhouette of the castle presiding over their nuptials, and even a location surrounded by Small World characters.
The Haunted Mansion has been a fan favorite since it opened in the park in 1969 and is easily one of the most beloved attractions in the park.
Starting in 2001, the ghostly-themed home got an overhaul as part of the park’s holiday decorations with the debut of an overlay inspired by “The Nightmare Before Christmas.” Every year, the Magic Kingdom brings the holiday spirit along with the ghosts for fans of all ages.
