Fortnite is known to partner with an array of brands and franchises to release exclusive experiences and collaborations, ranging from merchandise to consumer items. Now, it seems that the developers have joined hands with the legendary Disney Parks to bring brand-new experiences for gamers.
Here's everything you need to know about Fortnite's collaboration with Disney Parks.
A Fortnite x Disney Parks collaboration is on the way
Epic Games is known to collaborate with major franchises to expand their offerings, and now it seems that Fortnite is set to partner with the iconic Disney Parks to bring themed experiences. The official account for the parks posted a teaser on social media platforms like X and Instagram, leaving fans in a frenzy.
The teaser depicted popular characters like Peely, Fishsticks, and others being reimagined in the signature Disney style. The post was accompanied by a caption, which stated:
This lobby has no windows and no doors... 🏝️The caption clearly hints that a unique Disney-themed UEFN experience is set to make its way to Fortnite. The island emoji further suggests that it could be a custom world or a possible partnership with the whole island during Battle Royale.
While Epic Games has not officially confirmed the collaboration, the official account for the game on Instagram and X has reposted the original post by Disney Parks. Gamers will have to wait for additional updates and teasers from the developers to see what Disney has in store for them.
With the D23 event confirming the arrival of major Disney franchises and universes in Fortnite, gamers are in for a treat. While major IPs like Star Wars and Avatar have already made their way in-game, players can expect more partnerships to be announced soon.
