A pervy Washington state teacher convicted of having sex with her teenage student even wired the boy gas money to keep their illicit affair rolling, his stunned mother discovered.
As Spokane investigators zeroed in on McKenna Kindred’s inappropriate fling with a 17-year-old Central Valley High School student – which even saw them have sex at the disgraced married educator’s home – the victim’s mother, Ashley Beckley, recalled the questionable payments, and put two and two together.
Beckley told police she remembered her son receiving “gas money through Venmo” from a teacher during the fall of 2022, according to the Daily Mail.
Although she found the payment “kind of inappropriate,” Beckley said she but didn’t know which teacher sent it – or the disturbing reason why, the outlet reported.
Kindred’s predatory tryst with the teen had taken off when he found her Instagram account in June 2022 – sparking a series of sexually explicit text message exchanges, pictures and videos between them.
After they’d engaged in a sick, three-and-a-half-hour long sex marathon at Kindred’s house while her oblivious husband was away on a hunting trip in November 2022, the boy sent her a message saying, “Mom glad I can satisfy you.”
The now 27-year-old educator reportedly liked the message, prompting the teen to ask if she had used a sex toy while thinking about him.
“I did,” she replied.
“U should have video it and save it,” the teen responded, to which Kindred said, “Hm next time I need to relearn Snapchat haha.”
As rumors about their perverted relationship began to spread in December 2022, the boy’s friends shared screenshots of the racy messages with another teacher, who alerted Spokane Valley police.
Other texts from Kindred suggested the pair had even engaged in X-rated behavior on school property.
“We almost got caught,” one sick message read. “I was sad when that student walked in when he did. I wanted you to hold me. I really like being touched by you.”
The teen’s friend who reported the situation also told cops that she’d confronted the victim with her suspicions, telling him: “Mrs. Kindred and you must be f–king because you are always in her room” – to which he responded defensively, according to the Daily Mail.
After learning of the allegations, Beckley showed police with additional evidence of the teacher’s crimes — telling them she had seen photos Kindred had sent the son of her breasts, as well as an explicit video of him that her son had messaged her.
Beckley also knew about the sex toy texts, she told cops.
Kindred was arrested and confessed to first-degree sexual misconduct in March 2024. She avoided jail time, but was ordered to serve two years of probation, pay $700 in fines, and register as a sex offender for 10 years.
Three months after Kindred sobbed in court during her guilty plea to the sex crimes, she and her head-scratchingly devoted husband relocated to Kuna, Idaho.
It’s unclear whether the disgraced educator has worked since voluntarily surrendering her teaching license in response to an Idaho Standards Commission probe.
