Dillon Gabriel uses the power of birds to correctly predict Browns selection in 2025 NFL Draft

5 hours ago 1

In one of the wildest NFL Draft's we've ever seen, Dillon Gabriel got some help from an unlikely source to predict his landing spot.

The former Oregon Ducks quarterback used the power of birds to foreshadow his selection to the Browns at No. 94 overall. Gabriel, a native of Mililani, Hawaii, can be seen in a video released on Monday making bird calls at one of his favorite childhood-outdoor spots before correctly stating his draft slot.

The former UCF and Oklahoma transfer, who is second on the all-time NCAA passing yards list,  probably didn't envision himself going two rounds ahead of his new Browns teammate, Shedeur Sanders, who slid all the way to the fifth round. Nevertheless, Gabriel and his avian friends created an amazing moment in NFL draft lore.

Gabriel was selected in the third round at No. 94 overall by the Browns, a shocking selection with Sanders still on the board.

A day before he got drafted, Gabriel was spending some time outside in Hawaii with a camera crew and began making some bird calls just for fun.

Gabriel was asked what the birds were telling him, and he replied "Cleveland Browns, 94."

Heading into the draft, Gabriel was considered by many analysts to be a Day 3 selection at best. He was one of the most experienced quarterbacks in the draft with 63 college starts, but his smaller size and limited arm strength had many doubting he would be a high pick.

The birds seem to have given him some psychic powers, and he now has a real chance to win the starting job in Cleveland
