Anthony Kim's campaign in the 2025 PIF Saudi International Championship took an intriguing turn at Round 3. Before the third day, the golfer had achieved his best 36-hole score since returning to the game, 11 under par. This score also includes a fantastic bogey-free 7 under par second round, but his third round was just decent in comparison.

The 40-year-old golfer began his third round with a bogey on the first hole. He followed this with two birdies and another bogey to finish his front nine holes. While his performance was mixed up till this point, Kim managed to make a strong recovery and finish the round with a total score of two under par.

Following the round, he is tied for 4th place with a total score of 13 under par, four strokes behind the leader. According to Flushing It Golf, Anthony Kim was visibly frustrated throughout round 3, and they even posted a report about it on their Instagram. A short part of the post said,

"Anthony Kim bounces back from 2 early bogeys to shoot a 2 under par 69 in the 3rd round to be T4 at the PIF Saudi International. He was visibly frustrated after the round and said this is a sign of how well his game is progressing."

On November 21, Anthony Kim uploaded this post on his Instagram story, claiming that while it was not his day, he will be trying to play well in the final round. The caption stated,

"Definitely didn't play my best 2day but gonna try 2 shoot a low 1 2morrow."

Anthony Kim made one of the most significant returns to the world of golf in 2022, following a 12-year absence. Since then, he has worked hard to enhance his game, and his recent efforts have yielded positive results. Kim discussed this after his third round of 69, claiming that 8 months earlier, this round would have been 76.

The golfer stated,

"Yeah, I think so. I think 8 months ago, this would have been 76. And I probably would have lost a few shots just based on frustration, trying to squeeze drivers in places I shouldn't be squeezing drivers. So, I know I'm getting better. Obviously, I would have liked to have scored better, but I gave it everything I had today, and I'll do the same tomorrow.”

Anthony Kim will play in the final round as part of the 24th tee group, along with Adrian Meronk and Richard Bland, and their game will begin at 10:44 AM local time.
