A ritzy Beverly Hills hotel always charged Sean “Diddy” Combs an extra $1,000 to repair damages after the fallen music mogul left the room covered in baby oil and candle wax, according to testimony.
The L’Ermitage hotel’s internal notes about Combs detailed how rooms that the Bad Boy Records founder stayed in had to be placed “out of order” for a deep cleaning because he “always spills candle wax on everything and uses excessive amounts of oil,” jurors heard during the testimony of general manager Frédéric Zemmour.
“Please authorize an extra $1,000 when guest stays with us to cover any room damage,” the hotel’s profile of Combs read.
Combs also likes his room “HOT!,” the profile notes said.
Once, on Jan. 10, 2010, hotel staff “found large deposits of candle wax on carpets, in the living room area and on the night stands in bedroom area,” according to hotel notes.
Combs was charged $500 for the damage, the notes show.
And staff noticed odors coming from Combs’ rooms.
“Pls monitor outside his rm / down the hall to spray air freshener,” the profile reads.
