Did Timothee Chalamet and Kylie Jenner break up? Why Marty Supreme fans believe false rumor after Best Actor loss

A viral post circulating on social media has it made out that Timothee Chalamet and Kylie Jenner have split following his Best Actor loss at the Oscars Sunday night (March 16).

The post was created by the popular parody account Hoops Crave, which alleged that the Marty Supreme star, who was up for Best Actor, broke up with Jenner. There has been no official word from either party that they have split.

The social media account reported that the pair, who have been dating since 2023, decided to part ways after Chalamet lost the Best Actor Oscar to Michael B. Jordan. The Sinners star portrayed the Smokestack twins in the Oscar-winning film. Both Chalamet and Jordan were against One Battle After Another’s Leonardo DiCaprio, Blue Moon’s Ethan Hawke, and The Secret Agent’s Wagner Moura for the illustrious award.

Despite the account being flagged as a parody account, many fans still fell for the gimmick and reacted to the false news.

One fan responded with a photo of a girl smiling and then with a straight face, assuming how the conversation went down between Chalamet and Jenner, writing, "I hope you win an Oscar, so excited baby // Ok we need to talk mf."

Another fan alleged that the Kylie Cosmetics founder could have already moved on, "Women would always leave you at your lowest, won’t be shocked to hear she’s now dating michael b jordan," the fan wrote.

Some even went as far as to falsely claim that Jenner was texting her ex-boyfriend, rapper Travis Scott, during the award show.

Neither Jenner nor Chalamet has reacted to the false report at this time.
