Did Michael Rubin move July 4 party for Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift wedding?

Michael Rubin's all-white July 4 parties are iconic in pop culture, and with Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift's wedding reportedly taking place the day before, there might be some schedule conflicts for many celebs. However, this year, there's a possibility that many wedding guests won't have to choose as Rubin's party could have been postponed.

Rumors began to swirl earlier this week that Rubin's annual Hampton event has been moved, given that Swift and Kelce will be getting married the day before. While Swift and Kelce haven't been spotted at Rubin's star-studded event in the past, it seems that he will reportedly not be moving the party despite previous reports.

While Rubin's party will be happening on July 1, it is not due to Kelce and Swift's nuptials, according to a source per TMZ.

"Rubin's bash was never scheduled for July 4, and July 1 is the only date that was ever on the invitations, which went out to his guests on April 1 ... 8 days before the first public report claiming Taylor and Travis are getting married April 9," the outlet reports.

Rubin usually hosts his A-list event on either July 3 or July 4, but reportedly decided to move it to July 1 this year, thinking President Donald Trump's UFC 250 White House event would take place on July 4. That event is taking place on June 14, which is also Trump's 80th birthday.

Swift and Kelce, who got engaged in August 2025, were at first rumored to get married on June 13 in Rhode Island. It has since been reported that the couple who began dating in 2023 would be bringing their wedding to the Big Apple.
