Lamar Jackson has had a roller coaster campaign this season with the Ravens. He injured his hamstring during their Week 4 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. This led to him missing out on a couple of games before returning in Week 9, where he led his team to a 28-6 victory over the Miami Dolphins.
Last week, the quarterback led his team to a 24-0 blowout victory over the Cincinnati Bengals. In that game, Jackson completed eight of 12 passes for 150 yards and two touchdowns. So far this season, he has tallied 2,210 yards and 18 TDs passing while rushing for 333 yards and two touchdowns.
Nick Wright criticizes Lamar Jackson after he misses practice before Sunday's game against the Patriots
After returning from his hamstring injury, Jackson has missed several days of practice due to various reasons. Last Wednesday, he did not participate in training due to illness.
FS1 analyst Nick Wright did not mince his words when calling out the Ravens quarterback for not taking care of his health.
"Lamar can't get sick and miss practice every single year," Wright said on "First Things First." "He's the most important person in that franchise. He's an adult, he's a professional athlete. He's the only starting QB in the league who, every single year, he can't manage to figure out how to not get the seasonal flu. "It's weird. There's a lot of stuff about this stage of Lamar Jackson that flags as odd given his stature in the league. ... I think there's a lot of signs of immaturity with Lamar JAcksonThe Ravens are currently second in the AFC North behind the Steelers with a 7-7 record. Can they secure a win over the Patriots in Week 16?
