Dak Prescott was battered, beaten, and bruised from all angles at Lambeau Field on Sunday night.

One hit on the Cowboys' quarterback left him on the ground for longer than usual.

Zaire Franklin ran through the gap, his path to Prescott unabated.

The Packers' defender drove his body straight into the quarterback's side and kept churning until he was on the ground.

It was a hit that seemingly affected Dak. He took longer than a couple seconds to stand and on the very next play he threw an interception.

Reporters asked Prescott and his coach about the play after the game.

Dak Prescott explains injury scare after big hit

Prescott says he was slow to get up because the wind was knocked out of him. He looked to be in pain after the shot to the rubs but told reporters, “I wasn’t coming out of the game.”

Jury is out whether or not that was the right decision. Prescott threw an interception on the next play.

When asked if the big hit forced the interception, the Cowboys' QB said "I’m not a guy of excuses."

Brian Schottenheimer gives clarity on Prescott's health

Cowboys head coach Brian Schottenheimer says Prescott has not had any x-rays.

Brian Schottenheimer says that Cowboys LB Dee Winters has an achilles strain. WR KaVontae Turpin has rib cartilage, but x-rays were clean. To Schottenheimer’s knowledge, QB Dak Prescott did not receive any x-rays. https://t.co/2SJeFtE3v4

Since the hit was to the ribs, any threat of injury to Prescott would trigger an x-ray to see the damage.

No x-ray, no serious health problems.

Still, it led to a turnover and Prescott never quite looked himself the whole night.

The Cowboy seemingly avoided a worst-case scenario but are still stuck with a bucket of problems.
