YouTuber Brittany Venti, who courted controversy after donning blackface for Halloween, recently denied supposedly earned $1000 after her post went viral on X. For the uninformed, Venti, a biracial influencer, posted two pictures of herself in blackface on October 31, 2025, to her 65.6K X followers, captioning the post, "When that EBT hit."
The post racked up 87 million views and 69,000K likes as of this article. On November 9, 2025, X user @nikitabier claimed that people earn $1000 on the social media platform by posting just "7 to 10 words in the right order." While the X user did not mention Brittany Venti, the YouTuber took it upon herself to clear up the misconception that viral X posts earn a lot of money by using her Halloween post as an example.
She accused Bier of "not being transparent and selling you guys this lie that you can full time tweet." She also included a screenshot of her supposed earnings over the past two weeks on X, which indicated that she allegedly made only $496.24 despite her viral blackface post. She also tagged Elon Musk and urged him to ensure payout transparency, writing:
"I wasn’t gonna post this but @nikitabier is not being transparent and selling you guys this lie that you can full time tweet when it’s just not true. 87m views on my post, went extremely viral -didn’t get paid even 50% of what he’s saying. @elonmusk need payout transparency."In a follow-up X post, she claimed that the payout depended on whether people were in the "in group," and not based on impressions.
Brittany Venti explained her blackface post after it drew controversy
Brittany Venti's Halloween blackface post, which included her in blackface while wearing a blazer, a red bowtie, and holding a box of fried chicken, garnered criticism on X, with many accusing the YouTuber of being racist.
However, Venti explained her reasoning behind her Halloween costume in a subsequent X post on November 1, claiming that the blackface post had "lore and built up of drama with the black community." The YouTuber claimed that it was "on brand" for her to do blackface as a "continuation of a running satirical bit" to seemingly highlight how the black community was racist to biracial people such as herself.
"My costume wasn’t just random -it has lore and built up of drama with the black community especially over the past month. It is quite literally on brand for me to do black face as it is a continuation of a running satirical bit about how the black community is extremely racist to mulattos for their skin color," she wrote.Brittany Venti continued:
"It’s just really funny how I’m not “Allowed” to do black face, YET they’re “Allowed” to harass mulattos for being a quote “black mom biracial” calling me every name in the book and even insulting my dead parents. But it’s the end of the world if I make fun of it or say “N***a” -despite being black."In another post, Brittany Venti claimed that while her Halloween post can be taken humorously in an "edgelord" way, she had partially done blackface to highlight that she was "a minstrel character everyday without the black face to one side being called a pick-me…and then the other side says I’m not the “Right type of n***a”."
Explaining since there is a lot of new people here with zero context and just think it’s random le edgy -but there is a point to it. If you want to enjoy it for the edgelord value of it you absolutely can 👍🏿 it IS meant to be funny. But basically, I’m a minstrel character everyday without the black face to one side being called a pick-me…and then the other side says I’m not the “Right type of n***a”.
Brittany Venti's Halloween post is still visible on her X account at the time of writing this article. She has 72.6K followers on Instagram and 222K subscribers on YouTube.
