Jonathan Majors Privately Marries Meagan Good

DeVon Franklin has gotten married at second sight.

Seven months after the movie producer got engaged to fitness instructor Maria Castillo, the couple tied the knot in a stunning California wedding on August 2.

“We wanted to create an event that evokes the beginning of our love story,” Franklin, 47, told People in an interview published on August 4. “So often people look at a wedding as the end of a love story, but it’s just the beginning. We wanted this event to capture that, so people can really experience our love for one another.”

Indeed, the duo—who debuted their romance last September—had a star-studded guest list to witness their nuptials, including Kelly Rowland, Tyler Lepley, LeToya Luckett, Adrienne Bailon-Houghton and her husband Israel Houghton, Robin Thede, and more.

Franklin and Castillo, 30, added a “blend of timeless elegance, romance, and warmth” into the ceremony. Exchanging their vows near a sea of white roses, the couple later relaxed at the reception, which featured lace and even more cream-toned florals inside the Los Angeles venue.

Those hues and textures also shined in their couture. While the Divorced Sistas actor wore a black Giorgio Armani suit, his wife walked down the aisle in a gorgeous gown from Galia Lahav, complete with “delicate sleeves, a long train, and lace.”

“I was envisioning a traditional lace wedding dress with intricate details, a touch of drama, and a Spanish flair,” the fitness influencer explained of the vision behind her dream dress. “Classic but bold with just the right amount of tradition and passion woven in.”

This intimate ceremony comes nearly four years after Franklin closed his romantic chapter with Meagan Good. (She also got married to Jonathan Majors earlier this year.)

After Good and the former Married at First Sight relationship expert ended their nine-year marriage in December 2021, he reflected on their decision to part ways.

“I am fully in pain and peace as we start 2022,” he wrote on Instagram at the time. “And that's the truest place for me to be. As the great philosopher Wyclef :) said: ‘I’ll be gone til November’…meaning I’m taking a break from posting on social for a while, maybe not until November but you get the point. Thank you for your prayers.”
