Phoenix Suns star Devin Booker was 100% sure of Steph Curry joining him in Nike. Curry became a free agent after leaving Under Armour and has used his free agency to pay tribute to current and former NBA stars with his sneaker choices.
The four-time champion wore Booker’s Nike Book 1 shoes during Thursday's game against the Suns. While thanking Curry, Booker was asked about the Warriors star’s sneaker status, where he stated that he wants recruit Curry.
"He's in sneaker free agency right now, so I know he's been doing his rounds and he's been having a theme with every city that he's playing against," Booker said.•

When he was later asked about recruiting the Baby Faced Assassin to Nike, he confirmed, saying, “100%.”
Devin Booker also revealed that Steph Curry reached out to him first about getting some of his shoes. He added that he’ll try to get Curry to try the upcoming Nike Book 2 shoes.

"I got to try his out tonight and just the idea of trying to infuse some energy into the sneaker world while I can. And the idea of me and Book, and the relationship we've been able to build over the last couple years, especially since he's been in the league, playing together in the Olympics, there is a bond there, for sure.”He joked that he wanted to beat the Suns star with his own shoes.
“I was trying to beat him in his own shoes. It didn't work."The Golden State Warriors lost 99-98 on the road against the Suns. Booker led the Suns with 25 points, two rebounds and two assists. Curry finished with 15 points, nine rebounds and seven assists.
