Superstar running back Derrick Henry took to social media on Wednesday to share his reaction to signing a two-year extension with the Baltimore Ravens.
The Ravens have confirmed their deal with Henry, and according to multiple reports, it is for two years and $30 million and has $25 million guaranteed, which amounts to the richest deal for a 30-year-old running back in NFL history.
After the deal was announced, Henry was fired up about it in his message to Ravens fans on social media.
"Flock, good is good," Henry said. "Ravens I'm appreciative and grateful for everyone apart of this great organization and a big shoutout to all my teammates to be able to make this possible. Thank you Flock Nation for always supporting.
"Working as hard I can to be able to contribute to us holding up that trophy when it's all said and done. Love, 22," Henry concluded.

The extension for Henry is well-deserved. While everyone was wondering if Henry would begin to decline at the age of 30, the exact opposite happened
Henry finished second in the NFL in rushing yards behind only Saquon Barkley with 1,921. If not for Barkley's great season, Henry would've taken home Offensive Player of the Year honors.
The superstar running back has now broken the 1,000-yard mark in six of his last seven seasons, with the only exception being a 2021 campaign in which Henry suffered a broken foot but still posted 937 yards in eight contests.
Being arguably the best running back of his generation, and with a 2,000-yard season under his belt, Henry has probably punched his ticket to the Hall of Fame already.
However, he can further cement his cause by winning a Super Bowl, something he'll have a chance to do in Baltimore in 2025.
