The Nuggets have dropped their last two games and were dealt another blow when Nikola Jokic suffered an injury.

Jokic was hurt during Denver’s Dec. 29 matchup against the Miami Heat, where he hyperextended his left knee. With his absence, the Nuggets are now missing four starters, as Jokic joins Aaron Gordon, Christian Braun, and Cam Johnson on the sidelines.

Meanwhile, the Toronto Raptors experienced a subpar December after a strong start to the season. The team went 6-7 over the month but managed to hold onto fourth place in the Eastern Conference. They found their rhythm again in the final week of the year, picking up back-to-back wins against the Warriors and the Magic on Dec. 28 and Dec. 29.
