The Denver Nuggets cross swords against the Portland Trail Blazers in an NBA Cup contest on Friday. Ahead of the game, the Nuggets listed two players on the injury report submitted on the eve of the tie. Jamal Murray appeared on the list for the first time this season, while concerns about Cameron Johnson's weren't fully eliminated.
Murray was listed as "questionable" due to left calf tightness. The Canadian point guard played when Denver thrashed the New Orleans Pelicans 122-88 on Wednesday. He played just 25 minutes since the game ended up being a blowout. Murray finished with 17 points, two rebounds, six assists and one steal, while shooting 5 of 14 from the floor, including 3 of 8 from deep.

Meanwhile, Cameron Johnson, who is on a four-year, $94,500,000 contract, is listed as "probable" on the injury report owing to right shoulder inflammation. He suffered the injury on Monday against the Timberwolves and ultimately left the court in the final quarter in pain.
The former Brooklyn Nets suited up on Wednesday against the Pelicans, despite not being 100% healthy. He played 27 minutes and scored seven points. One can expect Johnson to suit up for the Nuggets on Friday.
