Deion Sanders is keeping things light ahead of his son, Shedeur Sanders, highly anticipated NFL preseason debut with the Cleveland Browns on Friday night.
The 57-year-old former NFL star and Colorado Buffaloes coach is cracking jokes about his mother, Connie's, first day at a nursing home "daycare" center.
"Today was a great day. It was my momma's first day of school," Coach Prime said in a funny video posted to Instagram on Thursday.
Deion Sanders cracks up family over grandma Connie's 'daycare' debut
Deion chose the classic "Sanford and Sons" theme song to play alongside the clip, which began with the retired NFL player going around the room and asking family members to bet on how long Connie would last at the nursing home.
"One week," Deion's sister, Tracy, predicted, while another family member said she thought grandma would make it three weeks.
Deion, who had the least amount of faith in mom, gave a hilarious response to his own bet.
"One day. You know why? I know my momma," Deion said laughing. "I knew she wasn't gonna like the food and I knew she was gonna find something."

Deion said he and his sister dressed Connie in a stylish new outfit and "like good kids" stopped by the nursing home to check on her during her first day of "school."
However, after making a ceramic craft, and meeting "a whole little crew" of friends, the former Cowboys wide receiver said his predication was on point, as Connie was already asking to go home.
"She said she was ready to go," Deion said, adding that Connie didn't like the food - even though she got to pick out what was on the menu.
However, grandma Connie said had a "very good time," and wants to go back again.
"But are you gonna stick with it cause it was your idea. You said you wanted us to find you a good place," Deion asked Connie.
"I like it there," Connie told her son.
"But as of right now I won cause I know her. And get what she said. 'The only reason I aint call you to come pick me up is because I left my phone in the car,'" Deion recalled, while laughing hard.
After the video went viral, fans flooded the comment section, praising Deion for taking care of his elderly mother.
"What a Blessing to be elderly and to have children who takes great care of you and treat you like royalty," one person commented on Deion's video.
"We love to see Coach Prime with momma Connie! Definitely got that Sanford & Son feeling," someone else wrote.
"Connie gonna have her outfit layed out the night before like Prime in the 49’s locker room," another person added.
Shedeur Sanders makes highly anticipated NFL preseason debut with Browns

While Deion Sanders is busy keeping things light at home, the youngest son of the pro footballer Hall of Famer, Shedeur Sanders, is gearing up to take the field for the first time in the NFL.
The 22-year-old has been named the starting quarterback in the Cleveland Brown's game against the Charlotte Panthers on Friday, August 8.
Shedeur, who rose to fame after his time under his father at Colorado, was a fifth round draft pick for the Browns.
Tonight, he will join the exclusive club, which includes Tom Brady, Tyreek Hill, Kevin Green, Richard Sherman, and Mike Webster, of fifth round draft picks to get a chance in the designated QB starter seat.
The spotlight is on the 22-year-old NFL rookie, as he gets the chance to prove if he's going to be as "legendary" as he projects himself in the league.
