Deion Sanders and Bo Jackson both felt a lot like superheroes.
Major League Baseball, the National Football League, it didn't matter. They were athletic marvels.
And on July 17, 1990, they put on one of the most special shows a baseball diamond has ever seen.
That day, the duo faced off at Yankee Stadium, Sanders in pinstripes and Jackson in Royals blue.
All they did was this:
- Jackson hit three home runs, including one over a leaping Deion in centerfield
- Sanders hit an inside-the-park home run in which the ball evaded a diving Bo and Deion ran over the catcher.

Jackson hit that day behind George Brett, who went 2-for-2 with three walks.
Sanders led off in front of Steve Sax and Don Mattingly.
The Royals won the game, 10-7.
It's probably safe to say that whoever was there that day won't ever forget it.
