The Miami Dolphins traded Jaylen Waddle.
They've already gotten rid of Tyreek Hill, and Tua Tagovailoa, and Bradley Chubb. Who's next? Well, De'Von Achane trade rumors are going to get rumbling in a hurry.
Achane is a supremely talented running back. He's also in the final year of his contract.
And given that the Dolphins appear to be getting rid of all sorts of remnants of what is now a past era, it would make sense for Achane to be next.
Miami Herald columnist Omar Kelly thinks that's what's going to happen, writing this on X on Tuesday after the Waddle trade:
"Jaylen Waddle was traded to Denver for a first and a third. That’s good value even though it’s a low-round first and a third. Don’t be surprised if De’Von Achane is traded too. This thing is going to the studs."

Achane will turn 25 years old in October.
The Pro Bowl RB is coming of a season in which he ran for 1,350 yards (5.7 yards per carry) and eight touchdowns while adding 67 catches for 488 yards and four more scores.
The year prior, he ran for 907 yards and six TDs and added 78 catches for 592 yards and six more touchdowns.
Clearly, he's one of the best dual-threat RBs in football.
What kind of trade value does that have? It likely depends if an acquiring team thinks it can get Achane signed to a contract extension.
But right now, the Dolphins have a logical path to follow, and that's totally clearing out the contracts that are either too onerous or already on their way out anyway. Achane, on an expiring deal, could be next.
