10-time champions France will take on Belgium in the quarterfinals of the Davis Cup Finals 2025.

France brushed aside Brazil 4-0 in the first qualifying round in January. They encountered some resistance from Croatia in the second qualifying round in September but eventually prevailed 3-1.

Belgium made it past Chile 3-1 in the first qualifying round. They took on Australia for a spot in the Davis Cup Finals, and upset their counterparts from Down Under in a 3-2 thriller to advance further.

Raphael Collignon was the man of the hour. His upset win over Alex de Minaur gave them a lead, and he then staged a comeback to beat Aleksandar Vukic in the decisive rubber to clinch the tie for his team.

France leads Belgium 6-3 in the head-to-head. The French team won their most recent meeting during the 2022 edition 2-1. As they lock horns once again after three years, here's a look at the match-ups for their upcoming tie (match-ups are subject to change):

#1. Corentin Moutet vs Raphael Collignon

Moutet has a 33-25 record this year, with runner-up finishes in Mallorca and Almaty being his best results. Collignon made the third round of the US Open, and recently reached the semifinals in Brussels. He has a 8-10 record at the ATP level, and a 31-9 record at the Challenger level this year, including two titles.

While Collignon is still finding his footing on the ATP Tour, it wouldn't be surprising to see him becoming a mainstay on the main tour next year. He has three wins over top 25 players this year, including a scalp over No. 8 de Minaur at the Davis Cup qualifiers. This will be the first career meeting between them.

#2. Arthur Rinderknech vs Zizou Bergs

Rinderknech registered the best result of his career this season at the Shanghai Masters, going down to his cousin Valentin Vacherot in the final. He has a 27-28 record this year.

Bergs also had his moment under the sun in Shanghai, progressing to his maiden Masters 1000 quarterfinal. He has a 30-26 record this year, and also finished as the runner-up at a couple of ATP 250 tournaments. Rinderknech and Bergs have not crossed paths prior to this meeting.

#3. Benjamin Bonzi/Pierre-Hugues Herbert vs Sander Gille/JoranVliegen

Herbert is the most accomplished player in this line-up, having a career Grand Slam in doubles. Along with Bonzi, the duo won the Open 13 earlier in the season, their only title as a pair. Gille was one half of the team on the other side of the net in the Open 13 final.

Gille and Vliegen parted ways at the end of the 2024 season. They won eight titles during their time together and were the finalists at the French Open 2023. They didn't taste considerable success with their new partners in 2025.

Moutet and Rinderknech are the favorites on paper due to their respective rankings, though both can be quite streaky. Collignon is a rising young talent, and with three big scalps under his belt this year, he could do some damage. Bergs has been somewhat consistent this season, and could pull out a win for his team.

Should it come down to the decisive doubles tie, the weight of expectations will come down to Herbert. He's capable of delivering in high-stakes situations and his wealth of experience could help him pip the Belgian duo.

Pick: France to win 2-1.
