Dalton Rushing’s girlfriend Kaitlyn gives playful shoutout to Alex Vesia’s spouse Kayla in candid post

LA Dodgers star Dalton Rushing's girlfriend, Kaitlyn, shared a warm offseason moment with fellow teammate Alex Vesia's pet dog named Rufus. Kaitlyn and Vesia's wife Kaitlyn got along well during the postseason in October, and it seems they have continued their bond into the offseason.

On Friday, Kaitlyn shared a photo of Rushing cradling Rufus in an adorable story. Along with the image, Kaitlyn tagged Kayla and said where to find her dog in case she goes missing. She wrote:

"If Rufus goes missing, you know where to find him." "got to see our favorite weens," she added.

Alex Vesia's pet dog Rufus appeared in his engagement photos when he proposed to his partner, Kayla. Vesia and Rufus were featured together in those photos.

Meanwhile, Dalton Rushing and Kaitlyn have appeared in photos together since at least 2021, and they continue to be publicly together through the 2025 season.

Alex Vesia and wife Kayla suffered personal tragedy

The Dodgers didn't have the services of their left-hander reliever, Alex Vesia, during their run through the Toronto Blue Jays to become back-to-back World Series champions.

Vesia stepped away from the postseason due to personal reasons. He and his wife, Kayla, later revealed on social media that their baby daughter, Sterling Sol Vesia, died on October 26.

"Our beautiful daughter went to heaven Sunday October 26th. There are no words to describe the pain we’re going through but we hold her in our hearts and cherish every second we had with her," the couple wrote.

The reliever thanked Dodgers teammates, the Blue Jays, and fans for their support during this heartbreaking time.

"Thank you to the Dodgers for their understanding and support during this time. Our baseball family showed up for us and we wouldn’t be able to do this without them," the couple added. "Thank you Dodger Nation, Blue Jays organization and all baseball fans for your love and support. We have seen ALL your messages, comments and posts. It’s brought us so much comfort."

Moreover, during the World Series, both Dodgers and Blue Jays players paid tribute to Vesia.
