Dalton Kincaid injury update: Bills' roster move might be bad sign for TE's Week 17 status

Dalton Kincaid's status for the Buffalo Bills' Week 17 matchup versus the Philadelphia Eagles is up in the air.

Kincaid has been dealing with a knee injury, which caused him to miss practice on Wednesday and Thursday. Though the Bills' young tight end was a limited participant on the practice field on Friday, he is officially listed as questionable ahead of Saturday's contest against the Eagles.

Buffalo has yet to make an official ruling on whether Kincaid will play, but the team did make a roster move on Saturday that could be a bad sign for his status this week.

The Bills elevated tight end Keleki Latu from the practice squad just a day before Sunday's game, meaning Buffalo could be bracing for Kincaid to be out.

However, moving Latu to the active roster for Week 17 could also signal that Dawson Knox will be out versus Philadelphia instead of Kincaid.

Knox also has a knee issue that resulted in missed practices during the first two days this week. The veteran did practice on Friday in a limited fashion, but like Kincaid, he's questionable for Sunday.

The elevation of Latu signals that one of the Bills' tight ends won't play against the Eagles. We'll see who's on the sideline on Sunday between Kincaid and Knox.
