The Chicago Cubs are prepared for a busy offseason.
Practically, their entire rotation is headed to free agency, including midseason acquisitions Kevin Gausman and Clay Holmes.
Chicago's outfield could look quite different in 2027 as well.
Seiya Suzuki and Ian Happ will both hit the free-agent market, and Suzuki is expected to have many interested suitors.
If the Cubs only re-sign one of those outfielders, they could look to the trade market for another corner outfielder.
FanSided's Robert Murray tabbed Cleveland Guardians left fielder Steven Kwan as a potential trade target for the Cubs.
"Another player who will be entering the final season of his contract, Kwan is a player on the radar of teams across the league," Murray wrote. "The Padres make sense. The Cubs make sense. The Phillies make sense. A bunch of teams make sense."

Kwan posted a career-high 5.3 bWAR, walked 85 times, and struck out just 62 times while playing quality defense in left field.
Given Kwan's versatility, many teams could ask the Guardians about him in a trade, including the Cubs.
Suzuki signing elsewhere would be a huge loss for the Cubs, but adding Kwan to the top of the lineup would lessen the blow.
