The NFL preseason is here, but rosters are still being finalized with the official regular season beginning in just a few weeks.

The Cowboys are among those still making late additions to their roster, and they made a notable signing on Sunday evening, bringing in a player to Dallas that many NFL fans know.

NFL insider Adam Schefter announced on Sunday that the Cowboys are expected to sign veteran defender Von Miller to their roster.

Miller last played with the Commanders this past season, and when he suits up with the Cowboys, it will be the 5th team he plays for in his career (Broncos, Bills, Rams and Commanders).

Miller has an impressive resume, including eight Pro Bowl appearances, being recognized every year from 2011 to 2019, except 2013.

He's also won a pair of Super Bowls in his career, with the Broncos in the 2015-16 season as well as with the Rams in the 2021-22 season.

His role has slowed down in recent years, as he's only started in three games over the last three seasons, but he is still a valuable veteran to have in the locker room as Dallas looks to get over the hump this year.

Miller still finished with 9 sacks last season and has a combined 15 sacks in his last 2 seasons.

Miller, 37, is currently 9th all-time in sacks, with 138.5.
