Cowboys named in Maxx Crosby trade rumor after failed Raiders-Ravens deal

1 hour ago 3

The Baltimore Ravens will no longer be trading for Maxx Crosby from the Las Vegas Raiders after he failed his physical, and the Dallas Cowboys' pursuit of the superstar edge rusher is officially back on.

According to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero, Dallas is still interested in making a trade for Crosby despite the questions about his health stemming from the failed physical.

"The Maxx Crosby trade is off, sending shockwaves across the league … and potentially allowing the Cowboys to take one more run," Pelissero said.

The Cowboys have been interested in trading for Crosby for most of the offseason, and even offered the Raiders a first-round pick, a second-round pick, and a player for the five-time Pro Bowler at one point.

Now that Crosby won't be a Raven, Dallas could emerge as the top landing spot for the Eastern Michigan product.

However, it is worth noting that the Cowboys agreed to a trade for Rashan Gary with the Green Bay Packers, which could complicate their pursuit of Crosby.

Nevertheless, Crosby is back on the market, and Dallas has one last chance to acquire the 28-year-old in a blockbuster deal to transform their defense.
