The Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders are featured in the current issue of sexy Maxim magazine, in a new article on the famous NFL squad.

Titled “How the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders Helped Build the Legacy of ‘America’s Team,’” the December issue article writes, “For the 19th consecutive year, ‘America’s Team’ has been named by Forbes as the league’s most valuable, with an estimated worth of $13 billion that not only far exceeds the runner-up Los Angeles Rams at $10.5 billion, but all sports teams worldwide.”

The outlet calls this “perplexing" because of “the star-spangled franchise’s failure to contest a conference championship—let alone a Super Bowl—in three decades.”

The article is mostly about the professional dancers’ star turn in a new coffee table by luxury publisher Assouline, which it reports is on sale now for $120 (classic edition) or $1,400 (Ultimate Collection).

“The DCC, aka 'America’s Sweethearts,' are in a league of their own,” Maxim captioned an Instagram share about their article. The carousel post includes six photos of the dancers in their world-famous uniforms executing their most iconic poses.

“Together with the Cowboys, the DCC has helped raise billions of dollars for those in need by teaming top artists like Dolly Parton, Reba McEntire, Destiny’s Child, and the Jonas Brothers,” says the article. “Assouline’s book is brimming with…compelling facts from the DCC’s past and present.”

The squad is currently filming Season 3 of its Netflix mega-hit docu-series America’s Sweethearts.
