Cowboys' CeeDee Lamb breaks silence on George Pickens trade with bold statement

There's a lot of opinions on George Pickens being traded to Dallas.

One of the most important ones comes from his wide receiver partner, CeeDee Lamb.

The pair made their debut appearance at Kyler Murray's softball game on Sunday.

They looked good as teammates, albeit not in a Cowboys uniform yet.

Lamb was briefly asked his thoughts about the newest members of the receiving room and had glowing remarks.

"We both 1's," Lamb told DLLS Sports. "It ain't no A-B, none of that. You look over there you see one you look over here you see another one."

"So do what you gotta do with that," he added.

It's a strong statement out of the gate from one of the Cowboys' leaders. Lamb also made it clear that there is no hierarchy between he and Pickens. It's a selfless move from Dallas's best pass-catcher.

Lamb and Pickens are expected to pair together as well as any other duo in the league. The former Steeler is a big body who can take contested catches and sideline throws from Dak Prescott. Lamb is at his best when he is in the slot or making plays happen after the catch.

Pickens was a WR1 in Pittsburgh, but many have theorized he will play second fiddle to Lamb.

The All-Pro wideout has made it clear there will be no outright "number 1" receiver in the Cowboys weapons chest.
