Cowboys, 49ers, Bucs named potential landing spots for $106 million superstar AFC pass rusher

The Dallas Cowboys, San Francisco 49ers, and Tampa Bay Buccaneers have been linked to a blockbuster trade with the Las Vegas Raiders in a recent rumor.

ESPN's Jeremy Fowler says that the Raiders and superstar edge rusher Maxx Crosby haven't had talks on a potential trade.

However, Crosby's market will be incredibly high, with the Cowboys, 49ers, and Bucs being among the teams that could show interest in the multiple-time Pro Bowl defender.

Here is what Fowler had to say about Crosby and his situation in Las Vegas:

"What has been made clear to me: Crosby wants to be a part of a winner. That's the priority. Whether and how that's conveyed is still unclear. He has been fiercely loyal to Las Vegas. That loyalty will be tested more than ever in the coming weeks. The reality is the Raiders are still far away from significant winning, and the trade interest in Crosby is incredibly robust."

During Super Bowl media week, FOX Sports' Jay Glazer reported that Crosby has played his final snap as a Raider. Though Crosby downplayed the report during an appearance on The Herd with Colin Cowherd, it's clear that he may not be the happiest with Las Vegas right now.

Most of the trade rumors stem from a heated situation between Crosby and the Raiders at the end of the 2025 season. According to Glazer, Crosby stormed out of the team's facility after being told the franchise was shutting him down for the year due to a knee injury.

Crosby has shown a ton of loyalty to the Raiders, but the dysfunction and constant loss could cause him to request a trade out of Las Vegas.

If that happens, the Cowboys, 49ers, and Bucs should pursue the 28-year-old in a trade. Crosby would be a viable replacement for Micah Parsons in Dallas, while San Francisco and Tampa Bay also need to upgrade their weak pass rushes this offseason.

The 49ers were dead last in sacks in 2025, with the Cowboys and Bucs also ranking in the bottom half of the league. Adding Crosby to any of those defenses would take the units to a new level.

Crosby will be a highly coveted player on the trade market, but we'll see if Las Vegas even considers moving the future Hall of Famer.
