Could this futuristic ‘manta ray’ passenger aircraft from JetZero dethrone Boeing and Airbus?

JetZero, a California-based aerospace company, is flying high after unveiling a new prototype passenger aircraft that promises to shake up the plane-making business.

The startup’s newest prototype plane, the Z4, is now getting tremendous buzz, after the company secured a whopping $3 billion deal with the U.S. Export-Import Bank to build its first factory on US soil to start manufacturing.

If successful, the prototype plane could upend an airplane manufacturing duopoly. According to the Michigan Journal of Economics, the US’ Boeing and Europe’s Airbus have dominated the market for decades.
