Cooper Flagg is a month-and-a-half away from being the No. 1 pick in the 2025 NBA Draft.
At this point, it feels like a foregone conclusion for the phenom from Duke.
And on Monday, Flagg got some literally big news.
At the NBA Combine, Flagg measured as taller and heavier than he was as a Blue Devils freshman.
Duke’s Cooper Flagg’s official measurements from the NBA Draft Combine:
6’7 ¾ barefoot, 221 lbs, with a 7’0” wingspan and 8’10 ½" standing reach

MORE: Cooper Flagg can still make a wild choice
Of course, that's not going to change Flagg's draft status.
Even if he had measured up as a bit smaller, he still would've been the no-brainer top pick.
But this helps.
The 7-foot wingspan is probably the most relevant measurement in the modern NBA, along with a bit of additional muscle to put up with the physicality he'll see as a star rookie.
Flagg might get even a bit stronger as he ages, with him being the youngest player in the entire NBA Draft class.
The NBA has been on notice for a while, and this just adds to the hype.
