Controversial Jordon Hudson wants wedding bells right now with Bill Belichick

Just when you think the relationship between beauty pageant contestant Jordon Hudson and North Carolina football coach Bill Belichick could not take a weirder turn, it does.

This time, Hudson is getting the word out that she's engaged to be married to Belichick. The Cape Cod Times on Tuesday, May 20, shared some information from an article that appears in The New York Times. In that Times story, it states that Hudson "has told at least one person that she and Bill Belichick are engaged to be married."

Watching the interaction between the 24-year-old Hudson and the 73-year-old Belichick play out publicly has been, at times, a nightmare.

There were reports that Hudson had a role in what questions were answered by Belichick during his interview with CBS Sunday Morning. Then, there were rumors that Hudson was giving unsolicited advice to Belichick around how he runs his North Carolina football program.

Hudson has not posted anything on her Instagram account to officially announce this engagement. The most recent post from her IG account dropped on Monday, May 19, when Hudson shared photos of her in the Miss Maine beauty pageant.

At this time, neither Hudson nor Belichick are confirming this report. Don't be too surprised, though, if Belichick pours cold water on the news. He's been famously gruff with the media yet has apparently warmed up while on his book tour. Damage control might become priority No. 1 for Belichick in the days ahead.
