Few active pro-wrestling stars today can match Bobby Lashley's resume in the business, and today, the Almighty has hit another milestone in AEW.
Bobby Lashley's professional wrestling career spans two decades and is laden with multiple championship victories. The 49-year-old maintains a global following, having competed in several promotions, including WWE, TNA, ECW, and now All Elite Wrestling. In the Jacksonville-based promotion, the Almighty is part of the Hurt Syndicate alongside MVP and Shelton Benjamin. He is a former one-time AEW World Tag Team Champion with Benjamin, a title he held for 214 days. Today, Lashley reached another milestone as he completed one full year as part of All Elite Wrestling.
The Almighty's debut in Tony Khan's promotion was dramatic as he confronted and took down Swerve Strickland on last year's edition of Dynamite: Fright Night. Moreover, he instigated the reformation of the Hurt Syndicate (formerly the Hurt Business in WWE).

WWE recently made a massive reference to AEW star Bobby Lashley
Bobby Lashley was a vital part of WWE programming for several years before he left to join All Elite Wrestling in 2024. Still, his time at the Stamford-based promotion had enough impact for the promotion to reference him despite the Almighty working for a rival company.
In WWE, Lashley was involved in several high-profile feuds. However, the fiercest of them all came against ex-WWE star Braun Strowman. The two spent most of 2019 feuding with each other and even gave fans one of the most thrilling last man standing matches at the Extreme Rules pay-per-view from that year. Another popular match from their rivalry was their clash at Super ShowDown 2019, and WWE recently acknowledged that match by uploading it on its official YouTube Channel.
Meanwhile, Lashley is coming off a tough loss in a four-way match for the No. 1 contender spot for Hangman's World Title that took place on AEW Dynamite last night. It will be interesting to see what’s next for the Almighty.
