A current WWE star has confirmed that Brie Bella was present at a recent show despite not being under contract. Brie's twin sister, Nikki Bella, made a full-time return to pro wrestling earlier this year and is currently part of RAW.
After nearly 15 years with WWE, The Bella Twins parted ways with the company in 2023 and officially became The Garcia Twins. While Nikki is back after just two years, Brie remains a free agent, with her husband, Bryan Danielson, still signed with AEW.
In an appearance on Insight with Chris Van Vliet, Maxxine Dupri discussed spending time with Nikki Bella at Natalya and TJ Wilson's Dungeon 2.0. She also revealed that she finally met Brie in September and spent time with the twins in France during the Clash in Paris week.
"I always say, whoever said don't meet your heroes, they never met Nikki Bella or Brie Bella, because they are 1000 times better than what I imagined. They are the most wholesome, down-to-earth, kind, loving, beautiful humans you'll ever meet. We actually had the best time in Paris with them. Me and Jackie (Redmond) went out and met up with Nikki and Brie and their photographer who was with them, Claire (Planeta). She's also amazing, which is also a testament to them. Every single person that is around them, to their core, is a wonderful human. Everyone I meet, a manager, whoever, I’m like, wow, you just like, surround yourself with such amazing people. And it shines through them. But that night, I learned Brie is hilarious. If she needs a side gig, she should do comedy. I was crying laughing the whole time," Dupri said. Nikki Bella hoping to see Brie Bella back in WWE before end of her current run
Speaking to Rick Ucchino of Sports Illustrated back in August, Nikki Bella opened up about the possibility of having Brie Bella back in WWE. Nikki revealed that the women's locker room is trying to bring her back, though they understand how the business works, especially with Bryan Danielson signed with AEW.
"I keep pushing it. All the women want her back and they keep asking me every week has that decision changed. I don't think legacies should be determined on spouses, but I also understand business," Nikki said.Nikki added that she wants to have a run with Brie as the WWE Women's Tag Team Champions.
